Key statistics – Creation of a study and ensuite within conservation area

The approach for the design was to create a clean and simple extension that improved the internal layout of the existing property but was also in keeping with the surrounding context. The scheme incorporated a two storey side extension (replacing an existing garage) to accommodate a new utility, shower room and office downstairs with a master bedroom and luxurious en-suite on the upper floor within Sudbury Court Conservation area.

Due to the width of the house, we decided to connect the indoor and outdoor boundaries, emphasising views over the garden. We also enhanced the contemporary pavilion-like feel of the living accommodation by using expansive glazed sliding doors and a crisp white render.
