The design process gets underway immediately after an initial conversation.
Typically, the early design process involves preparing a number of sketches that illustrate options for the space relative to the brief and budget. This exploratory process defines the overall vision to help build a clear sense of what we are working towards.
Once the design is agreed, we can then develop it further, considering the external form and configuration, as well as the internal details; the touches that make it a great functional place to live in and also a beautiful home.
We always recommend that clients talk to us before purchasing a property they hope to extend or alter. We will carry out a pre-purchase appraisal to investigate whether your desired build project is both viable and achievable.
Understanding the cost of a build at the outset allows homeowners to budget for the project. We take a very honest approach with our clients, ensuring the budget will cover the works. How do you charge for your projects
As each project and therefore everyone’s needs are different, our fees are based on the needs of your project; we provide a flexible pricing structure that gives you a fixed fee for every stage of the project and you have the option to use us as little or as much as you need.
I have a cost from a builder, but they have said they need technical drawings - do you provide these?
Yes, we can help with technical drawings. That said, if your builder has not reviewed any detailed plans to provide you a cost you will only have a budget price as they cannot price for something without knowing the detail from the outset.
