Glass Side Extension

Key statistics – Infill extension to a typical Victorian mid terrace

The customer approached us to create a new light-filled kitchen extension to the side of a Victorian property near Willesden Junction. With a growing family of keen cooks, creating space that was useful but uplifting was a key component of the brief. We met this brief via a new feature brick wall with a large window to the rear taking the form of the lean-to.

Integrated within this area was a glass roof to ensure that the kitchen felt light filled and spacious whatever the weather outside. With plenty of room for storage and kitchen fittings, the new build quickly became the hub of the house for cooking and socialising alike.
